SATEC’s experience in the world of mobility has always been closely linked to telecommunication carriers. The scope of the projects we have worked on has included not only the development and implementation of the solution but also second and third tier support once the solution is operational.

Messaging Services:

Development of systems based on the use of messaging services, such as:

• Communications between closed user groups
• Availability notices

Mobile services based on the technological platform infrastructure:

With regard to the services related to the operation of mobile carriers’ technological platforms which support a series of derived services, SATEC has carried out the following projects, among others:

• Mobile payment platform.
• MocaServer: Mobile Capability Server.
• Remote terminal configuration.
• Mass MMS messages.

Entertainment services:

Telecommunication carriers are faced with a market in which they must create services in very short periods of time to respond to market needs and offer new contents in a highly competitive environment. SATEC helps them with the development of a series of entertainment applications which the telecommunication carriers can then offer their end users. These services include the following, among others:

WAP services:

SATEC has participated in a number of projects that have required a knowledge of and ability to work with WAP technology, either directly because this was the object of the project or indirectly because it was one of the technologies that permitted the presentation of data on mobile terminals, as part of the development of other more general services.
